South Korea’s 2026 Chuseok public holiday runs from Thursday 24 to Saturday 26 September, followed by Sunday the 27th. If you are travelling for an aesthetic treatment, check not only whether a clinic is open, but whether your doctor can review you after treatment and how much observation time you have before flying home.
1. Five questions to settle before booking
- Check the specific branch; opening dates can differ within the same chain.
- Confirm that your chosen doctor, not just the reception desk, is working that day.
- Ask who can assess a complication or arrange a review within 24–72 hours.
- If you may need prescription medicine, check nearby pharmacy hours.
- Get the rescheduling and refund terms for flight or doctor-roster changes.
2. Clinic opening dates, 24–27 September 2026
Every cell uses the same three statuses: Open, Closed or To confirm. Known opening hours and advance-booking conditions appear after Open. An open clinic may still have limited doctors or treatments. Clinic names link to their information pages.

3. Thermage and Ultherapy: allow time even without needle marks

Thermage FLX and Ultherapy usually leave no puncture marks, but swelling, tenderness, tightness or temporary changes in sensation can occur. If an injectable is planned on the same day, energy-based treatment is commonly done first; a doctor must decide whether combining them is appropriate. These are Korean price ranges, not fixed fees.
| Treatment | Typical specification | Korean price guide | Confirm before booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thermage FLX | Face, 600 shots | About ₩1.5–2.6 million | Genuine tip, actual shot count and treating doctor |
| Ultherapy | Face, 300 lines | About ₩800,000–1.5 million | Genuine device, ultrasound visualization and actual line count |
4. RF microneedling and picosecond laser: plan for redness

POTENZA RF microneedling may cause heat, redness, swelling, pinpoints or small scabs. Stronger picosecond-laser settings may require stricter sun protection and recovery. Basic full-face POTENZA sessions in Korea are often around ₩100,000–300,000; packages with Juvelook around ₩250,000–600,000; and basic picosecond toning around ₩29,000–99,000 per session. Check the model, mode, area, consumables and tax rather than comparing headline prices alone.
5. Rejuran and Juvelook: do not schedule injections on flight day

Pinpoints, small bumps, bruising and swelling after superficial injections may last hours to several days. Rejuran Healer (black box), 2 cc, is commonly quoted around ₩200,000–450,000 in Korea. For Juvelook, confirm the formulation, powder amount per vial, dilution volume and actual quantity used; a quoted number of cc alone is not comparable. Let the doctor set the order and spacing if laser or RF treatment is also planned.
Seek urgent medical care for worsening pain, blanching or mottled skin, marked one-sided swelling, fever, pus or any change in vision. Do not wait for an online reply because the original clinic is closed.
6. Example four-day and six-day itineraries
| Trip | Safer sequence | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Four days | Day 1 consultation; day 2 treatment; day 3 observation or review; day 4 travel home | Multiple procedures straight after arrival or injections on departure day |
| Six days | Consult first; do energy-based treatment before any separately scheduled injection; leave 1–2 days for review | Switching clinics daily, making an adverse reaction hard to trace |
| Across Chuseok | Book on dates when the clinic stays open and your doctor is present | Stacking higher-risk procedures in the final slot before a closure |
Frequently asked questions
Are all Seoul dermatology clinics closed on Chuseok Day?
No. Some close, some shorten their hours and some have limited doctor rosters. Confirm the specific branch.
Can I get injections in the morning before an evening flight?
Do not judge by the clock alone. Injections need observation; a vascular or allergic complication is harder to manage once you are travelling.
Should I buy a discounted package before consulting a doctor?
You can compare prices, but avoid a non-refundable package before the indication, product specification, doctor and refund terms are clear.
Can I combine devices and injections on the same day?
Some plans use energy-based treatment before injections, but not every combination or body area is suitable. The doctor should determine the order and interval.
