A booking that says only “imported filler” or “Rejuran” leaves important details open. Before treatment, ask to see the unopened product intended for you and compare its full name, line, size, lot number and expiry date with your consultation record.
Six details to verify before injection
- Full name and product line
- Original pack size or units
- Unopened seal
- Lot number and expiry
- Clinician, site and amount used
- Emergency contact and adverse-event plan
Confirm the full product name and line, original pack size or units, unopened seal, lot and expiry, treating clinician and administered amount, and an emergency contact. A genuine product does not make an unsuitable procedure or an unqualified injector safe.
Hyaluronic-acid filler: check the exact line, not just the brand

A brand may sell several formulations for different uses. A quote for “Juvéderm 1 cc” should also specify the exact line, whether a whole syringe is used, site, total tax-inclusive price and clinician. Online product pictures show what a pack may look like; they cannot verify the item actually used on you.
Rejuran and Juvelook: use the brands’ own verification routes

Rejuran Healer, Rejuran i, Rejuran s and HB Plus are distinct products. Juvelook Skin, Juvelook and Juvelook Volume also differ in original vial content. Do not compare Juvelook doses solely by the number of cc after dilution. Rejuran and Juvelook provide official verification information; request the certificate or code associated with your own treatment and compare it with the pack and medical record. Juvelook advises international visitors to seek on-site assistance from their clinic.

Botulinum toxin: record brand, units and treatment site

For botulinum toxin, record the brand, total units, units by treatment area and planned dilution. “One vial” is not a dose. Units of different toxin brands should not be converted as if they were interchangeable. Photographing the original label can help with later follow-up.
A three-minute checklist at the clinic
Before payment, confirm line, original size, site and total price. In the treatment room, inspect the sealed pack and watch it opened for your treatment. Afterwards, keep a clear label photo, lot number, date, clinician and dose. Leave with a working emergency contact.
Frequently asked questions
If a clinic will not allow a photo, does that prove a fake?
No. But you should be able to obtain the full product details. Pause treatment if the line, size, lot or expiry remains unclear.
Does scanning a QR code prove authenticity completely?
No. Compare the unopened product, lot, treatment record, clinic and clinician. Opening a webpage is only one piece of evidence.
Does a low price mean the product is fake?
Not necessarily. Promotions, smaller amounts, product line and tax can change a quote; compare like with like.
Why keep the lot number?
It helps identify the exact batch if there is a product notice, unexpected reaction or follow-up after returning home.
