A breast augmentation consultation in Korea should not begin with “Is 300 cc big enough?” Implant line, base width, projection, gel behaviour and your tissue coverage together determine cleavage, upper-pole fullness, side projection and feel.
1. Four implant lines commonly compared in Korea
The four lines most often compared in Korean primary augmentation are Motiva Ergonomix, Mentor MemoryGel Xtra, Mentor MemoryGel BOOST and Sebbin Integrity.

Motiva Ergonomix
A SmoothSilk surface and softer dynamic gel create different contours when standing and lying down. It is worth comparing when natural movement, a smooth upper-pole transition and multiple profiles matter most.
dynamic shape · softer feel · several profiles
Mentor MemoryGel Xtra
A higher fill ratio balances softness with contour. Moderate Plus, Moderate High and High profiles make it useful for patients who want a fuller upper pole without the firmness of BOOST.
balanced contour · higher fill
Mentor MemoryGel BOOST
A more cohesive gel prioritises shape retention and reduced visible or palpable rippling. It generally feels firmer than Motiva and offers stronger upper-pole support.
high cohesion · shape retention
Sebbin Integrity
A highly cohesive gel offered in four projections for a given base. It allows the surgeon to fine-tune forward projection once chest width is established.
four projections · precise sizing2. How the four implants differ in practice
| Implant | Key characteristic | When to compare it first | Confirm at consultation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Motiva Ergonomix | Soft, dynamic and available in several profiles | Slim with adequate coverage; prioritises movement and softness | Exact family, base diameter and profile |
| Mentor Xtra | Higher fill with an intermediate feel | Minimal tissue and an empty upper pole, but not seeking the firmest shape | Moderate Plus, Moderate High or High |
| Mentor BOOST | Greater cohesion and shape retention | Very thin tissue, rippling concerns and a fuller upper pole | Coverage, pocket plane and tolerance for a firmer feel |
| Sebbin Integrity | Four projections within a base system | Chest width is set and projection needs fine adjustment | Exact model, surface, volume and projection |
3. Choosing Motiva Mini, Demi, Full or Corsé
Mini, Demi, Full and Corsé progress from lower to higher projection. At a similar volume, a lower profile is usually wider, while a higher profile is narrower and projects farther forward.
| Profile | Often suits | Visual goal |
|---|---|---|
| Mini|low | Wider chest with some native tissue | Subtle forward change and broad, natural coverage |
| Demi|moderate | Average chest wanting natural but visible volume | Balanced front and side proportions |
| Full|high | Narrower chest or minimal breast tissue | More upper-pole fullness, cleavage and projection |
| Corsé|extra high | Narrow chest seeking a marked increase with adequate tissue conditions | Strongest projection of the four |
4. A practical guide for slim patients and minimal breast tissue
“Slim patients should always choose the softest implant” is only half true. The thinner the coverage, the easier it is to see or feel an edge or ripple, so feel and coverage must be considered together.
| Starting anatomy and goal | Compare first | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Slim, but with reasonable tissue; softness is the priority | Motiva Ergonomix | More natural movement and spread when lying down |
| Very little breast tissue and an empty upper pole | Mentor Xtra | Balances upper-pole contour with a less firm feel than BOOST |
| Very thin skin, worried about rippling and wants a firmer upper pole | Mentor BOOST | Stronger shape retention, although the feel is firmer |
| Reasonable starting volume and wants a natural increase | Motiva or Xtra | Base width and profile can tune softness versus fullness |
5. Do not choose by “round versus teardrop” alone
All four lines discussed here are round systems. Round does not automatically look artificial. Gel softness, fill ratio, profile, pocket plane and native tissue thickness make the practical difference. Motiva behaves more dynamically, Xtra sits between soft and full, BOOST is firmer and more stable, and Integrity offers four projection choices within its base system.
6. The three numbers that shape the result
| Measurement | What it controls | Common mistake |
|---|---|---|
| Volume (cc) | Total implant volume | cc is not a cup size and is not directly comparable across brands |
| Base width | Horizontal footprint, cleavage and lateral border | Choosing wider than the chest can increase edge visibility |
| Profile | Forward projection and upper-pole contour | High or Corsé is not automatically more attractive |
7. 2026 breast implant price ranges in Korea
These are common ranges from public Korean package samples in autumn 2026. Surgeon, anaesthesia, breast imaging, admission, medication, surgical bra, scar care, ultrasound follow-up and VAT can change the total.
| Implant | Price range | Confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Motiva Ergonomix | about ₩11,550,000–₩12,650,000 | Confirm exact line, VAT, ultrasound follow-up and warranty registration |
| Mentor MemoryGel Xtra | about ₩7,000,000–₩8,800,000 | Confirm anaesthesia, tests, VAT and aftercare |
| Mentor MemoryGel BOOST | about ₩9,000,000–₩12,100,000 | Confirm profile, left/right sizes and surgeon surcharge |
| Sebbin Integrity | Confirm by model and package | Confirm the actual model, profile and complete inclusions |
A low headline price cannot be compared with an all-inclusive quote unless the full implant name, anaesthesia, VAT and follow-up are listed.
8. Real cases with different starting anatomy
The four paired cases below were published by MD Clinic in Korea. They help illustrate how upper-pole transition, cleavage, the inframammary fold and body proportion change across different starting anatomy.
Case 1|Very little tissue and an empty upper pole
The aim is to build the upper pole, medial contour and lower-pole curve within a base width the chest can support.

Case 2|More native volume and a fuller lower pole
Support, fold position and upper-pole balance matter more than simply increasing size.

Case 3|Clear left-right asymmetry
Different volumes, pocket dissection or fold design may be required rather than identical implants on both sides.

Case 4|Native tissue with mild laxity
The consultation should decide whether an implant alone can restore the upper pole or whether a breast lift should be added.

Compare cases against your chest width, tissue volume, nipple level and asymmetry—not cup size alone.
9. Breast surgery clinics to compare
MD Clinic Korea
A breast-focused clinic covering primary augmentation, postpartum breast surgery, revision and breast imaging.
NOTE Plastic Surgery
Publishes Motiva, Mentor and Sebbin Integrity options for side-by-side comparison.
Grace Plastic Surgery
Breast surgery and revision are core services; 3D simulation is used to discuss volume and contour.
Wonjin Plastic Surgery
Its breast centre presents Motiva, Mentor Xtra and BOOST, useful for comparing movement, upper-pole fullness and shape retention.
10. Build long-term follow-up into the surgical plan
Before leaving Korea, obtain the implant card with brand, complete model, left/right volume and serial information. Keep the operative record and follow-up plan.
For asymptomatic silicone implants, follow the product label and surgeon’s plan. FDA labelling recommends the first ultrasound or MRI at 5–6 years, then every 2–3 years. Persistent firmness, pain, sudden asymmetry, shape change, swelling or fluid warrants earlier medical review.
Frequently asked questions
Is Motiva better than Mentor?
Prioritise Motiva for softness and dynamic movement; Xtra for minimal tissue and balanced upper-pole contour; BOOST for very thin coverage, rippling concerns and a firmer shape.
Is 300 cc much larger than 275 cc?
Not necessarily. Different base widths and profiles can make similar volumes look very different.
Who may consider Sebbin Integrity?
Patients whose base width is established and who want finer control over projection, subject to tissue coverage and the exact model available.
Must implants be replaced every ten years?
No fixed ten-year replacement rule applies. Replacement depends on symptoms, imaging, rupture, capsule, position and personal goals. Ten years is better treated as a stage requiring consistent surveillance.
Implant, incision, pocket plane and the need for a combined lift must be planned by a qualified plastic surgeon after examination.
